Ford eSeries Vans meet eCommerce

As eCommerce is growing and businesses are becoming more and more dependent on delivery of goods directly to customers, it makes sense that America's best-selling commercial van - the Ford eSeries - is there, ready to play a critical role.

By 2004, analysts predict that online sales will reach approximately $3.2 trillion and that the number of residential packages delivered per day due to eCommerce will increase from 650,000 (in 1999) to 4.2 million.

Further, experts predict that one out of every ten products sold online will be returned. That equates to a LOT of business for delivery vehicles - like the Ford eSeries.

With so many people logging on to the Internet these days to order goods, there's a much higher demand for delivery vehicles like eSeries.

There are about 30,000 delivery vehicles on the road today - delivering everything from office supplies and furniture to household appliances, clothing and groceries. By 2010, nearly 90,000 delivery vehicles are expected to be in use. And that's exactly where Ford eSeries fits into the eCommerce picture.
